About 4-5 years ago, a blue eyed female husky was adopted from a shelter to be given a new life with sister huskies and a Mom who gave them all names that began with the letter "S". At the shelter, this little lady was called "Stray", since that was exactly all she was to them. Her mom figured it was meant to be, and she fit perfectly. Her history was unknown but Stray has a story to tell. She has seen the world in so many ways and in turn has a good amount of "street sense". Smart enough to not trust, even when coaxed with a special treat, Stray will need a new home with patience and perserverance. Aloof and untrusting in confined spaces, she becomes playful and almost friendly when in comfortable surroundings. Adventurous, alert and playful even, in the right circumstances. Having survived on her own, Stray cannot live with smaller creatures than her, as they were probably often her only meals. She is housebroken and will snuggle up once she trusts.
