Found his forever home in Mechanicsville, VA!
Yukon, so named by his first foster home, was found on the night of the first snowfall of the winter of 2000 by a homeowner who called S.H.I.N.E. to say that a husky had dug his way INTO his fenced yard and was not getting along with the other male boxer. S.H.I.N.E. rushed to the rescue, having just signed on another foster home, room was available and boy did Yukon need it. Rain soaked and just pitiful looking, he was welcomed with open arms and immediately had everyone at S.H.I.N.E. wrapped around his paw. As true to his form, he has already done the same to his adoptive family, not letting anyone sleep in the house if there is attention to be paid to him, or if he can trick his new mom into thinking dad forgot to feed hime before leaving for work! Yukon, you will not soon be forgotten!
